Last week on Thursday and Friday the Springville FFA traveled to the Utah FFA State Convention held at Utah State University in Logan, UT. We had three FFA members receive their State FFA Degree. The State FFA Degree is the highest degree a member can get from the Utah FFA Association.
Congratulations to the following students for being nominated Students of the Month in the Health/PE Department.
Marco Aguayo, nominated by Mrs. Hall. "Marco works SO hard every single day in class! He never misses & he pushes himself to his max effort and leaves with a sweaty shirt daily! He never complains and is willing to learn and work on improving his fitness. He is an inspiring example to everyone around him!"
Congratulations to Red Devil Thomas Jones for his recent appointment as a cadet at the US Naval Academy. Thomas is the first Springville High School student to ever receive this appointment. To be considered for admission, a student must be recommended by a US Senator or Representative from the applicant’s congressional district.
