Congrats to Brooke Pennington, who recently signed to play basketball at Snow College!
Tenors and Basses from the SHS choirs recently joined four other High Schools to participate in the 2nd Annual UVU Bass Clef Festival. The Festival ended with a concert where they were joined by the UVU Deep Green singers and the Utah Premiere Brass Band. Great job Red Devils!
Our SHS Theatre Department just competed at their 5A State Competition. The majority of the team came home with a superior medal! Way to go Drama Devils!
On Wednesday, April 12, Springville High’s Latinos in Action class/club traveled to Maple Grove Middle school to meet with 6th and 7 th grade ESL students to “Tell Their Story” in hopes of inspiring the younger students to continue to pursue success. Springville High students shared their personal stories of how and why their family moved to Springville. Also, students talked to the 7 th graders about personal obstacles and challenges they had to overcome to be where they are today and what their future career and/or college plans entail.
Congratulations to Ms. Beth Hansen who was awarded Teacher of the Year for Springville High School at the School Board meeting last night. We are so lucky to have her here at SHS!

The Utah State Board of Education announced five finalists for their Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Nebo’s Wesley Morgan, a science teacher at Springville High was awarded the Science Teaching Award.
