We would like to welcome Mrs. Wendi Nelson, who will be the new Dean of Students at Springville High School. We wish Mr. Shaun Blakey farewell and good luck as he becomes an Assistant Principal at Mapleton Jr. Here is a brief introduction to our new Dean of Students:
I was raised in Salem, Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. I received my bachelor’s of science in history education from Utah Valley University and a master’s of educational leadership and administration from Brigham Young University. For the last 16 years I have been teaching U.S. History, U.S. Government, AP U.S. History, Concurrent Enrollment U.S. History, Current Issues, and other social studies courses at Spanish Fork High School. I love spending time with my husband, Casey, and our three daughters. I enjoy gardening, reading, and traveling. I’m so excited to be a part of Springville High School.
