Congratulations to the following students for being chosen as Student of the Month from the CTE/Business Department:

Rhett Fullmer, nominated by Ms. White:  Rhett never misses class and is always on task in Game Development.  Also, he always has a smile and is willing help others.  He always puts his bets effort into his work.

Ali Maynard, nominated by Ms. Hansen:  Ali is always eager to learn and improve her skills.  She is quick to be the first to answer a question I ask the class.  I can tell she puts her best effort into creating and completing her projects.

Springville High School will be holding a Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 11th.  The assembly begins at 7:50 and veterans from the community are invited to attend.  

On Monday, November 28th, HOSA will be sponsoring a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross.   Appointments are available from 8am to 2pm.  Please go to redcrossblood.org to sign up for an appointment (Sponsor Code: springvillehigh)  Receive an $10 Amazon email gift card as a thank you.   Students will need a signed permission form, available in the front office or Ms. Chappell's room.

Congratulations to the SHS Ballroom Dance on their first ever Danzinskule competition held on Saturday Nov 5.  They were awarded the Sportsmanship trophy with a cash prize. Carter Turley and Jocee Blakey advanced to semi finals (top 12 couples) in Triple Swing and Ammon Taylor and Kenna Fisk also made semifinals for the International Style Quickstep. Ammon Taylor and Kristine Bartholomew were awarded most dedicated dancers.  Way to go Ballroom Dance Team!

Thank you to Western Heating and Air for the donation and the t-shirts   Thanks to the our awesome student body  and Springville community for voting in the Coolest School Competition!  It was such a close race.  

Congratulations to the faculty and students at Springville High! SHS was selected as the recipient of the UVUs "Momentum Award!"  This award is presented to the school with the greatest increase in the number of students enrolled in Concurrent Enrollment Math and English classes. We are so proud of our amazing students and our CE instructors:
