Hello, everyone.  My name Wei Yuan, you can call me Yuan laoshi too.  I am from southwest China, Sichuan.  I have a lot of hobbies, such as painting, baking, gardening, singing, dancing, sports and traveling.  I have been to more than 20 countries so far.  I am the only child in my family, and I love my parents very much.  I graduated from Sichuan Normall University, majoring in Education with a Bachelor's degree and achieved my Master's degree thru Utah Valley University, Education School, with a teacher leadership emphasis.  This is my 10th year teaching

I graduated with a degree in Animal Science, with a plan to attend veterinary school. Although life took me on a different path, I did raise four human animals. I've lived in KY, IA, AR, AZ and UT (of course). I recently finished my master's degree at SUU. Reading is my favorite pastime, but I also love to travel, hike, listen to podcasts, and play games with my family. I am excited to be working in the SHS library! 

I was born and raised in Springville, I graduated from SHS in 2014. I have one younger brother that graduated from SHS in 2018.  I went to Utah Valley University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Health Education with a minor in Biology.  I love the human body and how it functions and I wanted to share that love with others, I always knew I wanted to teach and it was amazing to be able to combine two of my passions and create a career. Learning new things and inspiring that love for learning with others is one of my biggest motivators. 

I'm the new Agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor. I moved to Springville from Westlake High School. I'm in my fourth year of teaching. I love FFA and Agriculture and am excited to share my passion with my students. I am a mom of two and love taking them on adventures! I also love hiking, golfing, reading, and playing card games! 

This is my 16th year teaching.  I taught middle school science for nine years and this is my seventh year teaching high school biology. I moved from California to Utah this summer and I’m excited to be working at Springville High School. 

Samantha Gwilliam is our new drama teacher at Springville High School. She is coming to us after teaching at Springville Junior High.  She is excited to be teaching at her alma mater where she graduated from 30 years ago! She has been involved in theatre her whole life, and is currently running the youth program for the Springville Playhouse, where they just finished a production of Lion King Jr this summer. To say she loves theatre is an understatement as she jumps from one production to the next. Sam lives in Springville with her family and loves being a part of the community.
