Springville High School welcomes Mr. Ty Stevenson as the new Dean of Students for the 2023-2024 school year.
Mr. Stevenson earned his bachelor’s degree in History Education from Utah Valley University. He is working toward his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Southern Utah University. Mr. Stevenson has taught U.S. History, World History, World Geography, and he developed an at-risk program while serving his six years at Mapleton Jr. High. Mr. Stevenson coached tennis at Mapleton Jr. High for five years, and he coached baseball at Maple Mountain High School for two years. Mr. Stevenson’s favorite quote is by Teddy Roosevelt. It says, “Believe you can, and you are halfway there.” Mr. Stevenson has been married to his wife for seven years, and together they have a two year old son. In his spare time, Mr. Stevenson enjoys camping, hiking, fly fishing, golf, and anything that involves nature. Mr. Stevenson loves sports, especially baseball. He looks forward to serving the Springville community!
