Welcome New AP and Honors Chemistry Teacher Carter Jennings

Submitted by carey.white on

Carter Jennings is our new AP and Honors Chemistry Teacher; however, he’s a long-time Red Devil. He graduated from Springville High School, then later attended and graduated from the University of Utah. This is his first year teaching and he’s excited about it.

Jennings reflects on his teaching vision, “My vision of teaching is to show my students that a “challenging” subject like Chemistry can be fun and much easier than people think. I hope that my own excitement about Chemistry is reflected in my teaching and students can get excited about it as well.”

Bradley Nicol recorded 3 TDs to go along with his 111 rushing yards, while Cole Bowers rushed for 168 yards and another touchdowns to lead Springville past Olympus, 28-14, for the win in the 5A first round in a surprisingly low-scoring game.

Ty Erikkson, the quarter back for the SHS Red Devils, has been playing football since fifth grade.

“After high school, I’d’ like to play for Ohio State,” said Erikkson.
