Football and Volleyball State tournament tickets

State Tournament tickets for Football and Volleyball will be available to purchase at SHS, in front of the Finance office, starting Tuesday 10/30. Pre purchase your tickets at SHS, our school will receive $.50 for each ticket sold here, and skip the lines at the games! State pricing will be $5 per student and $10 per adult.

Poetry Contest for Veteran's Day

We invite all SHS students to participate in a Veterans Day Poetry Contest. All poems must be submitted to Mrs. Rabner by Monday, November 5th. The winning Poem will be read in the Veterans Day Assembly on November 8th.

Save the Kids free Parent Education Night sponsored by Nebo School District

All invited to the #savethekids free Parent Education Night sponsored by Nebo School District on November 5, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Springville High audirorium at 1205 East 900 South in Springville, Utah.

Collin Kartchner and Dr. Katey McPherson will lead a discussion on:

  • Balancing screen time and device use,
  • Protecting and cultivating our children's self worth,
  • Devising a sensible family use of device plan.

Red Ribbon Week

This is Red Ribbon Week! The theme is “Life is Your Journey." Each day has a sub-theme, an activity, and questions which will be discussed in each class. The discussions will include things we CAN do to to help. 

Students, plan on staying for lunch this week for some lunchtime activities. 
Families can also benefit from discussing the questions together each day and talking about what you CAN do. See below for some of the questions and the activities for each day.

Introducing Red Devil Floral! Support our Floriculture students who make these beautiful flower arrangements each month.  October's monthly arrangement will be similar to shown here, though color and sizes of flowers may vary slightly.

HOSA Blood Drive

HOSA, along with the Red Cross, will be hosting a Blood Drive Tuesday, October 9th from 8:00am to 2:00pm in the Auditorium. Come save a life by donating blood. Any adult is welcome to donate, students must have a signed parental permission slip form. You may sign up for a time with Mrs. Caras or walk-ins are welcome, but may have to wait.
