As the pandemic’s unseen costs begin to unfold on the mental health front, some wonder how school children will be impacted. Despite the massive challenge we face, there are growing resources to help families who are struggling.

Virtual FamilyMental Health Night–Talk to a Therapist

Nebo School District is partnering with The Cook Center forHuman Connection to host a free virtual Family Mental Health night on November3, 2021 at 6:00 PM.Participants will hear from a leading clinical psychologist, be able to ask questions, and learn about free resources available.

Student of the Month

In five years, Cooper hopes to be in college, pursuing a degree in Art education and trying to accomplish the dream of becoming an art teacher.  Some favorite hobbies include making art in general and making pots in ceramics class.  A conversation with is Grandpa Jack would involve asking how he started his peach company.

Cross Country

Congrats to our Girls Cross Country team for winning state for the 4th year in a row!  We had 4 girls in the top 10 and 5 in the top 16 to give us a final score of 44 points.  (The second place finished with 87 points).  Congrats to Savannah Galbraith, Emily Sumsion, Sarah Galbraith, Adri Bird, Lydia Templeman, Briana Young, and Addi Orndorff for their awesome performances.  The girls have worked really hard all season and it was an entire team effort!  Also, congrats to Logan Garnica who finished 5th place overall making all state 1st team and led the boys to a 6th
