Springville Boys Volleyball - Undefeated Region Champs

UNDEFEATED REGIONAL CHAMPS! On May 4th,  these young men finished their Regional Championship Tournament with a win over Pleasant Grove, capping an undefeated regular season and capturing their 6th consecutive regional tournament championship!

Friday they head to the State Tournament in Heber, hoping to bring home the program’s first State title. Congrats and good luck at state!!  

Boys High School Volleyball is now an officially sanctioned sport in Utah.
 

Girls Lacrosse Player, Olivia Ottley, featured as a Steward Health Care athlete of the week

Springville dives back into action this week with two games after an extend break, and Olivia Ottley looks to pick up where she left off.

In Springvillle’s recent wins over both Bonneville and Spanish Fork before the break, Ottley scored five goals in each giving her 20 goals on the season in just four games.

Boys Tennis team wins Region tournament!

Our boys tennis team decisively won their Region! Springville took first place by winning 18 of the 20 total possible points in the regional tournament!

Individual winners placed as follows:

Jake Keller - 1st singles - 1st place

Joe Holman - 2nd singles - 1st place

Dylan Corfield - 3rd singles - 1st place

James Gardner/Kellan Brooke - 1st doubles - 2nd place

Bridger Barton/James Lowe - 2nd doubles - 2nd place

 

SHS student, Seth Rigtrup, nationally honored as Nebo Football Scholar-Leader-Athlete

The Utah Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame honored Nebo Scholar-Leader-Athletes on April 28, 2022. Dave Fox with KUTV Sports was the Master of Ceremonies and Matt Gay with the Los Angeles Rams and Gary Crowton, a contributor to amateur football, were Distinguished guests.

Seth Rigtrup, a senior at Springville High, was honored as a Scholar-Leader-Athlete for Nebo. Seth kept a 4.0 GPA and was listed on the First All-State Team to name a couple of his honors.

Mrs. Rabner speaks at Honors Breakfast

Congratulations to all of our students who participated in our Honors Breakfast!! These students have all maintained a 4.0 through the 21/22 school year. We had the privilege of having Lanell Rabner, our amazing Librarian, address the students as our guest of honor. We are so proud of the dedication so many of our students have shown this year. Keep up the hard work!
