May Students of the Month

Congratulations on the following students who were nominated by the Counseling Department.

Kian Van Valkenburgh, nominated by Mrs. Thornock. "Kian is a great student. He's someone I have met with a few times to talk about future plans, classes for next year, etc. He always has a smile on his face and such a positive upbeat attitude. I have really enjoyed our conversations and look forward to getting to know him even better throughout his high school career."

Caty Bishop, nominated by Mr. Johnson.  "Caty has been an amazing ML tutor helping multiple students in Math. She has also overcome some difficult circumstances to maintain good grades in her classes."

Leland Shumway, nominated by Mrs. Swenson.  "Leland has shown dedication this year through his academics. He has worked through challenges to pass his current classes and get caught up on his graduation requirements. His focus on his goals shows by the progress on his transcript this year."

Bella Creviston, nominated by Mrs. Owens. "Bella has made some amazing changes this year and her grades have reflected that. She has been an excellent example of hard work and follow through. I am super proud of Bella and all she has accomplished this year!"

Gavin Jolley. "Gavin is unfailingly kind and helpful. He has been our TA for 2 years and has been amazing every day. We can always count on him to show up with a smile on his face and complete whatever task we ask of him."

Miranda Miller, nominated by Mrs. McClean.  "Mandy consistently makes our school better with her unwavering positivity and kindness. She is always happy, willing to help, and treats everyone around her with genuine respect and care. Mandy's inclusive attitude ensures that no one feels left out, and she always takes time to appreciate and enjoy life's moments. Mandy works hard academically and contributes significantly to our school as a ML tutor. She has done an amazing job working with these students, demonstrating both patience and effectiveness in
helping them with their classes. "

Leah Haroldsen, nominated by Mr. Provence.  "Leah is very kind and is always concerned about the welfare of others. If she hears that someone is sick or having a difficult time, you can guaranteed that a card will be made and delivered. She has displayed a lot of progress this year. When given an assignment, she is eager to get it done, to the point that I am unable to have assignments open for the week without her completing them before the actual day that they are assigned."
