Once in a Lifetime Opportunity

On Thursday, February 22, Springville High FFA members had a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a National FFA Officer, Bryce Cluff, visit us here in Utah. This only happens about once every ten years since national officers are over regions and can’t be everywhere.

We were honored to host Western Regional Vice President, Bryce Cluff, from Arizona, for a fun filled day. We began our day at Orem High school getting to know Bryce and other FFA members from around the valley. From there we made our way to Westlake High school to rub shoulders with even more members and enjoy a BBQ luncheon with our national officer and several of our Utah State FFA officers. We then made our way back to Orem high school to construct bud vases a service project. The best part came when we finished the bud vases and delivered them to TREEO, a retirement community, to give to elderly citizens. The joy on their faces made the whole experience worth it. Our day didn’t end there. Our own Springville High FFA chapter then hosted a multi-chapter activity of ice skating at the Peaks Arena in Provo. We had a great day and great experiences our Springville High FFA members will cherish.
