SHS Bands play at State Competitions
Congratulations to the Wind Symphony for competing at State Festival. Special congrats to Yubin Kim, Tommy Wilde, Tom Gabbitas, and the SHS Woodwind Quintet (Yubin Kim, Jayden McDonald, Tom Gabbitas, Lucas Christensen, and Nephi Spendlove) for making it to and performing at State Solo & Ensemble festival!

Boys Tennis team places second in Region
Congratulations to the Boys Tennis team on a great season! They placed second in region and had a great showing at state! And good luck to Dylan Corfield who is playing in the semi finals on Saturday!
Jersey Mike's Players of the Week
The following students athletes are Jersey Mike's Players of the Week for April 24-28 and May 1-5
Trent Ash - Baseball. Threw 6 innings, striking out 9 Provo batters.
Emma Liddiard - Softball. Emma is a Senior shortstop who hit 6 for 9 on the week, had 8 RBI's, and 7 runs scored.
Avery Jensen - Track and Field. Avery has consistently been cutting time (each race, she runs faster and faster) and she works so hard day in and day out. She is such a good sport and her hard work is really paying off!
May Students of the Month

David Jones, nominated by Mr. Pace. "David is a joy to have in class. I have gotten to know him in math and history this year. He is engaging and he cares about his work. He has a strong work ethic and plays along great with all of my jokes."
Red Devil Girls Golf places 3rd at Region, three qualify for State
Congratulations to our Girls Golf Team. They took 3rd in the Region. Three of our girls qualified for State by placing in the top 12. Lexi Pugmire tied for 3rd place, Alexa Child took 7th place, and Ali Smith took 10th place. The team and individuals will play in the State Playoffs on May 8th and 9th.
Class of 2023 Senior Gift
The Senior Gift has arrived! A huge thank you to Peter Ruplinger for donating his time, resources and talents to create this stained glass for us. We honestly can't thank him enough.
