On Saturday morning, March 10, Springville High’s Key Club continued their service project from last weekend to paint art on the downstairs track walls and keep that part of the school cleaned up since it's an easily neglected space. Students sweep and washed walls and inside and outside.

On Thursday, March 8, Springville High FFA participated in cleaning a Cedar City cemetery as part of the Utah FFA Day of Service in conjunction with the Utah State FFA Convention.

Red Devil FFA members receive top placements at State Convention

This past week, March 8-10, Springville High FFA members traveled to Southern Utah University in Cedar City to attend and compete at the Utah State FFA Convention.

The following students won top placements in their events:

Jaynee Giffing, 1st Place, Prepared Public Speaking, she will compete nationally this October

Alexia Gornachec, Chloë Wimmer, and Jaynee Giffing, 1st Place, Video Contest

SHS Juniors are Nebo Finalists in district science fair

Elizabeth Rex and Joel Emmett (both Springville High Juniors) competed in the Nebo School District Science Fair on Wednesday, February 28, and came away with the award “Nebo Finalist" which qualifies them to participate in the Central Utah STEM Fair at Brigham Young University at the end of March.

Once in a Lifetime Opportunity

On Thursday, February 22, Springville High FFA members had a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a National FFA Officer, Bryce Cluff, visit us here in Utah. This only happens about once every ten years since national officers are over regions and can’t be everywhere.

Multi FFA Chapter Activity

On Thursday, February, 22, Springville High FFA hosted a multi-chapter activity featuring ice skating for National FFA Week. Nine FFA chapters from all over the valley participated with all skill levels of ice skaters.
