Cheer Squad

Spring and Summer Schedule

  • Tryouts- March 21, 22, & 23 from 4-7pm in the G-Wing Gym

  • Spring Practices- Mondays from 3:30-5:30pm starting April 10th and ending May 15th.

  • Uniform Fittings- April 12th at 2:30 in the dance room.

  • Mini Cheer Registration-April 25th and 26th from 5-7pm in the Cafeteria

  • Mandatory Safety Clinic in May- TBA

  • Summer Cheer Practice and Mini Cheer Week- May 29-June 2nd

  • Cheer Spectacular- June 2nd at 6pm

  • June 5-10- NO PRACTICE

  • Tumbling at The Hive dates- TBA

  • Cheer Practice- June 12-30th on Mondays-Thursdays from 7-9:30am

  • Mandatory Cheer Camp-June 19-21st at SHS

  • Cheer Pictures-TBA

  • July 1st-30th NO CHEER PRACTICE

  • Cheer Practice-July 31st-August 12 on Monday-Thursday from 7-9:30am

  • Parent Meeting- August 1st at 8pm

  • Competition Choreography- TBA

  • School Begins- August 16th. Practices will be B4 from 1:10-3:30pm.

  • Competition Practices- TBA

Team information: 

SHS students and freshmen will need to meet all requirements below to tryout for Springville High School football: 

  1. Register my athlete.  Players that have already played another sport will still need to switch sport to football. 

  2. Completed Physical and medical history 

  3. 2 Forms of ID for Residence verification.

  4. 9th Grade Participation form (for 9th graders).

Bring all of your completed paperwork to the Athletics office to receive your Yellow Slip. 

The coach must have this slip before tryouts.
