Students and Parents:

I am very excited to welcome you back to Springville High School for the 2011-12 school

year! We have a school that continues to be full of great expectations and tradition. We are

excited for you to begin new traditions. I hope all of you get a chance to stop by and look at

the new "untouchable" in the front entry way and the new Springville Art Museum display.

Both of these displays will be here forever to celebrate our "Red Devil Pride!" We are also in

the process of a major remodel of the high school and have added a number of computer

labs, new rooms, remodeled gyms and cafeteria, new track, etc.

There are a few important things that I would like to address with you. It is critical that you

make your education a priority in your life. In today's uncertain times, your education is vital

in your success. Your future is now, continue to progress towards graduation. You are here to

prepare yourself to be a productive member of society. I would also encourage you to get

involved in as many activities as you can at SHS. Take advantage of all the great opportunities

here.

I am honored and proud to serve as your principal at SHS! I am never too busy to help each

one of you. If there is anything I can do to assist you, my office is always open to students

and parents. This is a wonderful school with a tradition of success that reaches back to 1902!

I am proud to be a part of RED DEVIL NATION! I am looking forward to another banner year

at SHS!
