CENTENNIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR EARLY GRADUATION
Criteria: Major points of the scholarship program are as follows:
• Public school students who graduate at the end of their junior year receive $1,000
• Award: A student who graduates from high school at the conclusion of the eleventh grade year or during the twelfth grade year shall be entitled to partial tuition scholarship in the form of the Early Graduation Centennial Scholarship Certificate to be used at a Utah public college, University, Community College, Applied Technology Center, or any other institution in Utah accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges that offers post-secondary courses.

SEPTEMBER

DAR GOOD CITIZENS AWARD
Criteria: The student selected for the good citizen award must have qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. One student will be selected from the senior class
Eligibility: Senior student nominated by school who possess above mentioned qualities, essay required to enter the scholarship contest

JANUARY

REGENTS SCHOLARSHIP

In 2008, the Utah State Legislature created the Regents' Scholarship. This scholarship encourages Utah high school students to prepare for college academically and financially by taking a rigorous course of study and saving for college. In summary, there are three elements to the scholarship:

  • A Base award for the Regents' Scholarship worth up to $1000.
  • An Exemplary Academic Achievement award for the Regents' Scholarship worth up to 75% of tuition for two years*, until completion of an associates or bachelors degree (which ever is shorter).
  • A supplemental award of up to $100 per year for students who have contributed to their Utah Educational Savings Plan account between the ages of 14-17. The maximum supplemental award is $400.

Criteria: Students pursuing an education in math and science

ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION MOST VALUABLE STUDENT
Criteria: 2009 Most Valuable Student Scholarship Competition is a cash award given based on multiple achievements - character, leadership, service, citizenship, financial need, and scholarship ability.

This two year vocational grant is to be used for enrollment of the student in a vocational/technical school. Grant will be judged on motivation, need, skills, and grades.

ELKS ASSOCIATION HANDICAPPED STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
This award is given to a handicapped high school senior seeking further education. Recipients of the award must have some physical handicap which has been deemed sufficient to impede or restrict normal progress.

GATES MILLENNIUM SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Eligibility: nominated students who are African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American
Citizen of the U.S., minimum GPA of 3.3, demonstrated leadership abilities in community service or extracurricular activities, meet Federal grant criteria (FAFSA form),

USU QUINNEY SCHOLARSHIPS
