Greg Clark of Springville High produced a film last year titled “Being Cleatus” and won honorable mention at the Utah High School Film Festival. The eight minute film’s screenplay is about a vegetarian boy from a very health-conscious family. He goes to Burger King, in which he purchases a Whopper Jr. by mistake. He then discovers that he loves them and develops an addiction to meat. The remainder of the film is about how Cleatus reverts back to vegetarianism and becomes himself again.

The part of Cleatus was played by Greg Clark, who also wrote and directed the film. “I definitely prefer directing, but I’ve done editing, filming and acting,” explains Clark. He plans to make more short films in the future.
