3D Design I & II

Essential Understandings: 3D Design I

  • Students will practice drawing exercises related to the 3D approach.
  • Students will learn the basic proportion of the human head.
  • Students will learn the basic shape and form of the features of the head-skull (eye, nose, mouth, and ears).
  • Students will sculpt the human head using the naturalistic approach.
  • Students will sculpt the human head using an abstract approach.

3D Design II

Concurrent Enrollment Credit

  • Students will participate in drawing exercises related to 3D art.
  • Students will create a clay mask out of clay.
  • Students will sculpt a human skull out of clay.
  • Students will sculpt a bust of someone in the class using the naturalistic approach.
