FBLA does well at UVU Central Region Competition

On Friday, February 12, eight students from the Springville High FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter competed in various business, marketing, speaking, and technology events at Utah Valley University.   Congratulation to the following students who placed in their respective competitions: Jerich McAfee and John Call, 3rd Place, Banking and Financial Systems; Jerich McAfee, 2nd Place, Business Communications; Chelsie Murdock, 1st Place, Business Procedures; Dexter Eppley, 3rd Place, Computer Problem Solving; Chelsie Murdock, John Call, and Ryan Allred, 3rd Place, Entrepreneurship; Ryan Allred, 2nd Place, Impromptu Speaking; Shay Gashler, 3rd Place, Job Interview; Josh Sutherland and Dexter Eppley, 2nd Place, Management Information Systems; Chelsie Murdock, 3rd Place, Marketing; Shay Gashler, 5th Place, Public Speaking II, Mykal Johnson, participant, and Carey White, Advisor. These students now qualify to attend FBLA Utah State Competition at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center on April 8 – 9, 2010.
