Ryan Rigby and Karen Sumsion have been awarded the UHSAA’s (Utah High School Athletic Association) honor of Academic All State. These two students have high GPAs and ACT test scores and have contributed greatly to their sport and/or team.
 
Ryan Rigby is being honored for his contriubtions to the boy’s golf team. Ryan said,
“Sports don’t really mean anything unless you keep the grades up. That’s why I worked so hard, so I could play. I did it to get scholarships, too.”
 
Karen Sumsion is being recognized for her contriubtions to the girls’ tennis team. Karen exclaimed, “It’s definitely a lot of hard work to get good grades and to be a contributing member of the team. It was so much fun, Ihad a blast.”
