Over $1500 dollars was raised today at Springville High’s Make-A-Wish Assembly.  Make-A- Wish is an awesome organization that grants wishes to children who are born with critical conditions. This year, we have a wish recipient, Aleah Morris, attending our school.  Morris has a heart condition, and her wish is to sing with Bruno Mars.  As a community, it’s our goal to raise as much money as possible to help grant her wish.  In addition, Springville’s local business, Clyde Company, has pledged an additional $500 towards the goal.

All proceeds will be forwarded directly to the Utah Make-A-Wish foundation. During the assembly volunteers completed a “Dare” as each level of funds were donated.  Some of the dares included pieing students and teachers, watching students drink blended school lunches, Mr. Boss drinking a bottle of hot sauce, a student being duct taped to the wall, and Mr. Lister waxing his legs for $500.
