In the last week of February, Springville High School presented their spin on Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility for this year’s winter play. Directed by drama teacher, Christian Cragun, and sets created by Springville’s very own Technical Theatre class, the play was a hit!

The entire production (seating included) was presented on stage.  This thrust stage, which essentially means there are audience members on three sides of the performance space, was chosen to tell the story in both an intimate and fun environment.

In audience was completely immersed into this world and became physically a part of the play. All of the set pieces were mobile.  There were are a lot of location changes, so audience members had to keep their eyes out for set pieces moving around.
