Springville FFA Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest

by Kaitlin Thompson

On October 27, 2016, Springville FFA hosted our annual pumpkin carving contest at the high school. This took place in Mrs. Giffing’s classroom. It started at around 6 pm and lasted a few hours. We had delicious donuts from Reams grocery store to snack on while we carved pumpkins. There were different categories of pumpkins to be judged. The categories ranged from scariest to FFA. The prizes for the best pumpkins were some king size candy bars.

Everyone had a great time and had a lot of fun.  All in all, it was a very fun activity that helped everyone get into the halloween spirit.
