Springville FFA Serves at the State Fair

On the morning of September 11, Springville FFA Members, ages ranging from 14-18, attended the Utah State Fair. At the State Fair, there are many agriculture learning opportunities; such as: Dairy cattle show, beef cattle show, and many farm animals to learn about.

While in attendance at the state fair, students had the opportunity to participate in several hours of service through Barnyard Friends and Little Hands on The Farm. At Barnyard Friends, members showed animals to elementary students and taught them about the various animals present. At Little Hands on The Farm, members taught elementary students about the comings and goings of a farm and some fun facts about farm living.
