Last Thursday the wrestling team traveled to Timpanogos for a dual meet. The final score was 42 to 29 in favor of the Red Devils. The Red Devils went into this dual to ruin the Timberwolves’ senior night, and that’s what happened.
Both JV matches were won by the Red Devils. Varsity wrestling started at 7 p.m. and the first match was the 152 weight class. The dual started out slow for the Red Devils; but, by the 182 match, the team gained momentum and carried it through the rest of the night.
Jon Britt (182 lbs.) had an amazing match against the number one ranked wrestler in 4A and won by pin.
