On Friday, January 27, Springville High’s girls varsity basketball pulled off an impressive overtime show at home against Mountain View winning decisively 53-46. Although the Bruins had an impressive fourth quarter, regulation play ended in a tie throwing the game into overtime. In the extra period Springville hit ten free throws to pull away. Malia Nawahine highlighted the winning effort with 24 points and 15 rebounds. Springville completed 18 field goals and 16 of 21 free throws.
