Springville strikes out twice against the Skyhawks

Red Devil varsity baseball played the Salem Hills Skyhawks twice last week and suffered a loss in both meetings.  On Tuesday, May 10, Springville hosted Salem Hills at home and lost, 4-1.  Again, on Wednesday, May 11, the Red Devils traveled to Salem to face-off against the Skyhawks and narrowly lost, 6-5, in a tough fought game

As a result, the Skyhawks earned the region title as Sam Callister and Tanner Hamblin both homered to help Salem Hills overcome deficits in a back-and-forth games against Springville.

Red Devils grab win from Skyhawks

Springville’s Red Devil varsity soccer team hosted the Salem Hills Skyhawks on Tuesday, May 10, and came away with the win, 3-2. 

Springville was trailing at halftime but made a comeback with two goals in the second half to tie the game and another in overtime to steal a win from Salem Hills.  Morgan Allen, Josh Clegg, and Ryan Treasure all netted goals in the win.
